Kofta Masala
Ingredients
Mince 1 kg (chopped twice in mince machine)
Onion 4 or 300 gm (medium, chopperized)
Curd 1-1/2 cup or 300 gm
Green coriander 2 tbsp (chopped)
Garlic 1 tbsp
Clarified butter/oil 1 tbsp
Shan kofta masala 1 packet
Method
1. Put half chopped onion into mice, half curd, green coriander and 2 tbsp shan kofta masala mix to knead well.
2. Then make approx. 40 kofta balls.
3. Heat oil and fry remaining onion till golden brown.
4. Then add curd, shan kofta masala and garlic fry for a few minutes.
5. Add 2-3 glass water and fry for 15 minutes more.
6. Now add koftas and cook till tenderized well avoid stirring spoon.
7. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy with chapaties or rice.
Palak Kofta
1. Follow given recipe directions and at step 2 before adding water.
2. Add finely chopped and 1/2 kg boiled spinach and follow remaining recipe direction steps.
3. Add ½ cup milk before removing from stove.
Kofta Karhi
Add these ingredients into kofta ingredient list.
Gram flour 1-1/2 cup
Curd 1-1/2 cup or 300 gm
Curry leaves 25
Method
1. Follow kofta curry recipes step 1 but do not add curd into mince.
2. In a pan add gram flour, curd, ginger, onion, shan kofta masala and add 6-8 glass water and boil for a while.
3. Then add koftas and cover to cook for 30 minutes.
4. Heat oil/clarified butter put curry leave and sauté for few seconds.
5. Pour this baghar on karhi.
