Usage Tips:
1 tbsp Argo Corn Starch = 2 tbsp flour
Argo corn starch has twice the thickening power of flour. When a gravy, sauce or soup calls for flour, use half as much corn starch to thicken.
To thicken hot liquids first mix Argo corn starch with a little cold water until smooth; gradually stir into hot liquid until blended. Stirring costantly, bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
To make cake flour: for 1 cup cake flour combine 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp. all purpose flour with 2 tbsp. Argo corn starch.
